Reaching out to others
Funds are raised through registration fees, donations, and raffle proceeds and have been dispensed in the following ways:
$1000 to Janice Peterson for Vance's children's college funds
To the Vance Peterson Memorial Scholarship Fund for a high school senior from each Upton High School and Encampment High School.

$500 to Paul Hendry who's wife, Emily, is battling breast cancer while pregnant with the couple's third child. (Rapid City Journal article) http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/emilyhendry
$500 to Todd Glaser who is a coach in Glasgow, MT, to help him through rehabilitation after an accident left him a quadriplegic. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/toddglaser

$1200+ to Lily Wilson, daughter of Pete and Mikayla Wilson of Upton (formerly of Spearfish and Sioux Falls), who bravely battled and beat cancer at the age of 2!!
$500 to Jeff Selchert, who valiantly fought, but lost his battle to leukemia in August of 2012.
